FAQ

  • How much do you charge for moving a home?

Because every move is different, we provide a tailored quote for each job. While distance is not always the biggest factor, several key components can vary home to home, so an on-site visit is typically necessary to provide an accurate quote. However, we can provide a rough estimate over the phone or via text.

  • How do I prepare my home for the move?

Manufactured homes have frames that are built for the purpose of making them mobile. However, the frame does have a weight capacity. An empty home without major modifications ensures the best outcome. Aside from adding weight to the home, loose furniture can become dislodged during the move and cause damage to the home. If you’d like more details about your situation feel free to contact us.

  • My home does not have a hitch, now what?

If you can't find the hitch, check underneath the home. Often, hitches are unbolted and placed there for later use. If you find the hitch, and it was simply unbolted, we can reattach it for you.

If your mobile home's hitch was cut off but is still available, you'll need to hire a welder to reattach it. If your hitch is no longer available, we may be able to locate one for you. The cost of the hitch is separate. If a welder is required, we work with highly experienced ones to coordinate the job.

  • My home doesn't have axels. Can you move it?

Yes. We will provide the necessary axels and tires required to transport your home.

  • Who will disconnect my utilities?

Disconnecting gas lines must be done by a licensed plumber in the state of Texas. That applies to refrigerated AC units as they often have gas lines. But, we work closely with licensed professionals if you would like us to coordinate the disconnection.

  • Who will reconnect my utilities?

It is up to the customer to hire someone for the reconnection of their services. If interested, we work closely with licensed professionals to coordinate the installation of a home and reconnection dates. Contact us for more details.
